FOOTBALL

Apart from music, Spizz's other passion is football (or if you are American: soccer) Even though he now lives in London, he grew up in Birmingham so he supports Aston Villa. As well as following and watching football, Spizz also plays most weeks. His regular team is called The London Villa, and he sometimes plays in those celebrity tournaments.
In 1996 Spizzenergi recorded a track for a CD called Come On You Villa, on Cherry Red records, and in 1998 the band recorded E For England in support of England's team in the France 98 World Cup, which was critically acclaimed but unreleased.

While Villa were between sponsors, Spizz snapped up a shirt that therefore had no sponsor's logo and made his own.
