The weekend of August 9th, 10th and 11th 1996 was the occasion of a three-day punk festival held in the Palace Ballroom of the Winter Gardens, Blackpool. The festival was called Holidays In The Sun
Many original and reformed punk bands performed and the whole lot was recorded and filmed. A company called Visionary have started releasing CDs and videos of the highlights of the festival. Visionary seem to be associated with Cherry Red Records, so they must be OK!
There are three separate videos, one for each day of the festival. Spizzenergi played on Sunday - day 3.
Full details of all the releases can be found on Visionary's own web site. |
