Welcome friends, please excuse my stumbling entry into the very world I have written and sung about and have now finally embraced. As you can see the I have only grasped the most basic skills. However I am sure you would rather see the development unfold before your very eyes than wait an eternity to receive nothing at all.
SUNDAY 11 AUGUST is the day we play the HOLIDAYS IN THE SUN festival at the Blackpool Winter Gardens (Empress Ballroom). We are scheduled to play on the main stage at 3.45 PM ending at 4.30 PM. These times are to be strictly adhered to. Providing the organisers are on the ball. For further information call 01568 613223. Credit card hotline 01225 447770. Blackpool tourist info 01253 21623. Friday nights main bands are X-Ray Spex, ATV, Sham 69. Saturday features The Damned, 999, UK Subs, Chelsea, Vibrators & Sunday features Buzzcocks, Theatre of Hate, Jayne County & SPIZZENERGI. Looks like we are the most interesting band on - have I got a big head. 50 bands over 3 days. When Cherry Red released our fab new CD SPIZZ NOT DEAD SHOCK! we played a London show where some of you were kind enough to fill in our info forms. Well me ol' china Martyn Ware came backstage to say how much he'd enjoyed the show and to demand he produce the storming version we did of the Kraftwerk hit "The Model". He should know as a producer he's an expert at cover versions. So thats our next project after Blackpool and more good news is that we intend to continue in our present line up for the forseeable future.
Because I am presently moving flat during August all the things I promised to do for people like sort out tapes, videos & T-shirts etc. (you know who you are) I'll get in touch soon-ish. Thank you for your continued support. It's truly appreciated, Best wishes SPIZZ

I've not seen it yet but he's asked to run it and it will become official if I like what he's doing and I want to know what you think of it.

SKUDS' NOTE: The text is more-or-less exactly as it was typed - but I have not attempted to duplicate the layout. The only significant change I made is that I have used lower case: the original is entirely in capitals. I even left in the incorrect spelling of my name :-) (It was spelled right on the envelope though...) |
